Podcast Episode 9. Inspiring Reluctant Artists in your Art Classroom I wanted to give this podcast a listen because it touched on important topics for classroom management which is something I am really interested in learning before entering my own classroom. As someone who has already stepped into a teaching role for the public school system it's very sad to see some students lack of motivation for any lesson. I've seen a mixture of two to three star students, the chatterboxes, class clowns, and the inevitable "i'm too cool for school" in every classroom. This podcast talks about the importance of building rapport in your classrooms which I couldn't agree more. Getting to their level is key before giving an educational command towards a teenager. I like how Kathleen talks about sharing some personal life moments with students, while not having to get too personal some things are OK to share. Showing your students your personal interests outside of school
